Marty works in very close sync with Cisco’s GGSG team laying the roadmap for Advanced Technologies, providing resolutions/solutions to the (IT CANT BE DONE) Interoperability issues for DoD. He has been called upon numerous times for his technical abilities with video algorithms, programing in C #, and in-depth knowledge in call routing with Regular expressions.
Marty has speaking and presenting engagements on a regular bases at events like CISCO Tech days, Custom created classes around Video Infrastructure, Video Algorithms, Call routing, Linux, Regular Expressions, etc . He has been called upon for his years of technical experience and ability to articulate technical solutions to a wide range of customers.
Marty Marlow holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and has many certifications with Cisco and Microsoft. He has engineered and led several development efforts in DoD focused on Video Algorithms (Intra prediction model) for H.263,H.263+ and has recently submitted his latest publication for approval detailing enhancements to the fast motion estimation in forward motion vector prediction in the H.264 video algorithm to reduce the complexity of the computation of the motion search.
